Philadelphia: Near here stood Tun Tavern, 1693-1791
Walked around Philadelphia yesterday for a little bit, I walked by this sign and thought it would make for an interesting picture. The sign reads:
Near here stood Tun Tavern, 1693-1791, which is regarded as the traditional birthplace of the United states Marine Corps. Authorized by a resolution of the Continental Congress November 10, 1775.
